The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a document that outlines all rights that are inherent to every individual. It is grounded on the assumption that every individual is born equal. As such, they are all entitled to the same rights and treatment. These rights cover individuals of any gender, sex, identity, race, ethnicity, nationality, religious belief, political affiliation, etc.
In our organization, we serve as advocates of human rights. As such, we are mindful of the various violations that may take place globally. If you are aware of any cases of human rights violations, please report them to us so that we may take the necessary action needed.
Despite condemnations from national and international communities, Human right violations and atrocities in Cameroon are increasing and getting worst.
Among these cruel and worst human violations and abuses, we want to bring to your attention these two other unacceptable cases on two members of the main opposition party in Cameroon, Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM).
We must stress that even before the presidential election Cameroon authorities have already launched a vast and sustained campaign of repression and torture against members of CRM and it got intensified after the October 2018 presidential elections and continue until now.
In these two cases two members of CRM have been tortured in the basement of Cameroon Secretary State of Defense and jailed in very cruel and inhumane conditions. We are highly concerned about their life:
